Job Description

Our client, Protection Point Service Plans Inc. offers highly customized extended warranty solutions for Dealers in the Heavy Equipment and Agricultural industries within Canada. They are looking to a hire a Warranty Sales Support Representative out of their Ladner, BC office. This position will support the sales team to achieve or surpass annual budget and objectives.


Location: In Office, Ladner, BC


Responsibilities:

  • Responsively addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service to nurture existing accounts.
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new dealer management and staff, including user set-up and training assistance.
  • Monitoring and adjusting dealer staff access within our online portal and CRM.
  • Maintaining accurate dealer contact and organizational profiles within CRM.
  • Recording and tracking all dealer interactions and follow-up tasks within the CRM system.
  • Identifying and engaging with inactive dealerships to rekindle sales activity where necessary.
  • Collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager to develop strategic plans for leads and opportunities.
  • Assisting in the implementation of marketing and seasonal programs in coordination with senior leadership.
  • Supporting dealers with warranty claims filing and submission, including monitoring high-value claims and providing necessary assistance.
  • Facilitating the oil sampling program for used equipment enrollments, including dealer follow-ups and insurer approvals.
  • Ensuring dealers understand and effectively utilize the PPSP Portal, including issuing quotes and managing passwords.
  • Conducting follow-ups on quotes and analyzing reasons for success or failure.
  • Participating in quarterly dealer reviews and assisting accounting with outstanding receivables.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by management.


Required Skills:

  • Level #1 General Insurance Agent License (desired but not required to start in the role)
  • Post-secondary education or relevant business experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with a willingness to assist others
  • Proficiency in computer skills (CRM, Office 365, Internet)
  • Organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Effective problem-solving skills


Experience:

  • Experience in dealership operations within Agricultural, Construction, or Material Handling sectors
  • Familiarity with Service Operations, Finance and Insurance, and Warranty Services


Desirable Qualities:

  • Bilingual fluency in French and English is an asset
  • Personable and outgoing demeanor
  • Attention to detail
